Since I can remember I've been designing clothing & drawing mermaids (or pretending to be one) on the beaches of Australia where I've grown up. I also love the outdoors and have a passion for healthy living. Merging my ocean inspired prints with high performance yoga wear, Sea Spell creates fashion for active living with a surf culture soul.
WHO DO I DESIGN FOR
Sea Spell girls are playful, vivacious, bold and strong, just like the ocean. Weather you do yoga, weights, run or just live in leggings, my wish is to brighten your days with visions of tropical holidays & adventures on the sea.
THE PRINTS
With so much fast fashion & seen-it-before prints out there, I place a lot of importance on originality. Every
Sea Spell print is crafted with
a story behind it. I want to delight everyone who looks at my art and inspire my girls to feel good about themselves when they're wearing my pieces.

I also spend a lot of time perfecting a pattern so that it will flatter legs and body, making someone look a little taller or more slimline can be created with shapes, colours and trickery of the eye.

I've spent many years researching & testing the highest quality materials for my products and using eco-friendly options wherever possible. The fabrics are durable, soft, easy care and printed with quality inks.

Because all Sea Spell pieces are made to order, they are created especially for you, and this means it takes a little time to be printed, hand sewn and delivered to you.
THE INSPIRATION BEHIND THE ART
Sea Spell prints are lighthearted with a beachy theme. Growing up by the beautiful beaches of Australia, the coastline has has always been special to me and influenced my work.
I could stare into rock pools for hours taking note of colours, shapes & textures of sea life.
Colours which remind me of tropical holidays and light up my heart.
I'm also inspired by Art Deco, Japanese and Pacific art, Art Nouveau, vintage Disney art, abstract art, and vintage posters.
HOW & WHERE ARE MY CLOTHES MADE?
I searched far and wide for the perfect people make Sea Spell clothes until I found a friendly group of quality printers & sewers in Canada & the US.
I send my pattern artwork to them, and they use their own locally milled fabric to print on then cut and construct it into Sea Spell goodies. They're the ones who also post it directly to you.
Using thick, luxurious eco-friendly fabrics, they make each garment especially for each order, (especially for you!) which is why it takes a little time to reach you (so you will also be contributing to the slow-fashion movement).
