Every pattern starts as a watercolour artwork, a black & white sketch or digitally. Usually I'm inspired by coastal and oceanic shapes, colours or childhood stories of mermaids and underwater worlds. Sometimes I have no idea what the pattern will look like or if it even has a story until I'm half way through.
Below is a video showing behind the scenes of Jazmin painting, digitally editing and creating the patterns, and finally testing the printed fabrics and fit of the clothing.
